"I love getting out on my mountain bike in the snow and ripping it up. "

I was born and raised in Ontario and started mountain biking in the Don Valley in Toronto. Those roots have left a big impression on what I like to ride. I spent the last decade riding in Ontario and visiting the Sea to Sky area to ride every August for 4-8 weeks until 2019 when I moved to Kelowna. I just moved to East Vancouver in November of 2021.

I'm a big fan of long days in the saddle. The only way I shuttle or ride the lift is if I don't have an option! My ultimate trail is still the old stand-by Comfortably Numb in Whistler or heading up to the Chilcotins to climb alpine for days on end in the heat of the summer. I still remember the first time I crested Boney Elbows in Squamish like it was yesterday. Still blows my mind. If you're from Ontario, I did it all in The Don, but The Ridge is still my favourite. Nothing beats the summer hammerfest with 20 of your pals!

I'm on a medium Evil Offering these days. A few personal upgrades, mainly my We Are One wheelset. I wouldn't ride a bike without them! I've been fortunate to ride long term a lot of brands we have. It's a tie between the Evil Offering and the Yeti SB130 for my favourite bikes out there these days.

I was born in Ontario, Canada but have biked all over the world! My favourite place to ride is in Brevard, North Carolina but also where I grew up in Horseshoe Valley! I’ve been a cyclist my whole life thanks to my parents who met cycling.

I started off as an XC mountain biker, then racer, I was actually National Champion when I was in Cadet. I began road racing, then cyclocross racing, and eventually Enduro/DH when I moved to North Carolina for college! This past year I won the Collegiate National DH Championships with my school, Brevard College.

When I’m not working for Bicicletta, I’m probably in school, out riding, or checking out BC real estate plotting my migration to the West Coast!

I'm from Quebec, but I live in North Carolina, and a little bit everywhere around the world depending on the time of year!

I started my cycling career as a Cross-country racer, as a Junior and U23 World Cup competitor. In 2018 I switched to the darkside, AKA gravity! I’ve been racing Enduro World Series for 5 years and Downhill World Cup for 4 years now. I’m bilingual, have a Sports Massage Certification as well as a Kinesiology Bachelor of Science.

I love all bikes and all kinds of races, I’m always up for a challenge and require little to no convincing for any crazy adventure!

I grew up in Vancouver spending as much time outdoors as possible. Naturally, cycling became a way for me to do so. The community that you find while cycling is what really drew me to this sport and kept me here.

My favourite road route in the city is without a doubt the ride to Whytecliff Park. When I am not on the road I am riding gravel in Pacific Spirit Park or on Fisherman’s Trail, or doing laps at Fromme.

Bikes:

Gravel: Salsa Warbird
Road: Custom Ti build
Mountain: Orbea Occam

After decades in the Radio industry, I’m finally living the actual dream by working in a bike shop!

When I’m not greeting you at the door of our Broadway store, I’m trying desperately not to fall off my Ibis HakkaMX, riding gravel on the North Shore, or wondering if it will ever be easier to get up Vancouver hills on my Wilier single speed commuter.

I started riding pretty late, didn’t care for it too much as a kid, was on training wheels way too long. When I started using a bike as my main way to get around Toronto I fell in love. Being in flat downtown Toronto, road riding is what got me hooked, but eventually got drawn further and further off pavement, which is part of what led me to relocate to Vancouver. Gravel, bikepacking, and mountain biking are my main scenes now, with my eye on gravel and CX racing for ’22.

Bikes:
Do-it-all: ’87 Nishiki Olympic turned flat bar gravel bike
Mountain/bikepack: Salsa Timberjack
Gravel: Ritchey Swiss Cross
