Jake Cullen, was born and raised close to the ocean in Vancouver. He grew up spending as much time on the water as possible, and only really discovered the joys of riding bikes a little over 10 years ago. He immediately fell in love with riding and dived into the world of racing, and quickly ended up on Canada's top U23 Development team, where he spent 2 years racing the UCI America's Tour and the USA Pro Road Tour, followed by a year on a Continental level professional team. At the end of the 2019 race season, Jake went on a solo, offroad bikepack across BC to meet up with 2 friends, and then bikepacked back to Vancouver with them. This changed the way he looked at bikes, and he's since dived into the world of Ultra-Distance Cycling taking on multi-day rides and races in BC, Oregon, California, Greece, and the biggest of all, a 1900km race around Kyrgyzstan in central Asia. Jake has worked at Bicicletta, for much of his time as a cyclist, starting as a part-time salesperson while racing and in University, then coming on board full time at the beginning of the pandemic. In the past 4 years been the Rider Support Manager, Soft Goods Category Manager, Store re-Opening Manager, and most recently the Marketing Manager.
