Job Description

Location: 1497 Adanac Street, Vancouver, BC 

Position Types: Full-Time Seasonal (April - September) and Ongoing Casual 

Availability: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 - 6:00

The Rider Support Sales team member provides comprehensive customer service throughout the entire customer life cycle, from assisting customers with browsing and purchasing bicycles, apparel, accessories, and components to maintaining strong ongoing relationships for current and future sales. This role also involves serving as a liaison for the service department, managing bike service bookings, assisting with service pickups, and setting expectations. Rider Support Sales guides customers through product selection, checkout processes, and addresses post-purchase issues, demonstrating a deep understanding of Bici's products, policies, and processes to enhance customer support and facilitate sales.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer sales and support in-store, focusing on bike sales.
  • Enhance the customer experience through active listening, compassion, understanding, and a commitment to resolution.
  • Assist customers with specialized bicycle purchases and upsell on accessories, clothing, nutrition, etc.
  • Facilitate curbside pick-up and return drop-off for customers.
  • Adhere to and be familiar with Rider Support and in-store policies and procedures.
  • Address specific and detailed product questions.
  • Assist customers with returns, online orders and inquiries and in-store appointment bookings.
  • Restock inventory, assist with merchandising as needed and maintain an organized store by tagging products.

Desired Skils and Experience

  • Passion for cycling and the cycling community.
  • Comprehensive technical and product knowledge, coupled with a strong understanding of component compatibility.
  • Confidence in determining correct bike fit.
  • Sales experience in the bike retail industry. Strong Mountain bike knowledge is a key asset.
  • One plus year of customer service experience.
  • Grade 12 completion is preferred.
